Also, remember that the ECC is having its Open House on Thursday, August 29th, during the hours of 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Please drop in during this time to see your child’s classroom, meet his/her teacher, and bring in your child’s school supplies at this time. Kyndall has been seeing all kinds of eagles this summer! A client at her grandma's beauty shop came in with this neat hat, and they let her pose in it. Then, while visiting a local library, she spotted what she thinks is the “coolest set of books ever”!

Earlier this summer, Brooklyn and Landon went to the Cincinnati Zoo and hung out in an eagle’s nest.

We are excited to begin our annual Fall Mum Sale! Students can start collecting orders now; but order forms will be sent home the first week of school. Orders (with payment) are due on or before Monday, September 9, 2024. Cash & checks are accepted. Please make checks payable to Gilead Christian School. Mums will be available for pick up at South Campus on September 20th.

Summary: After escaping wrongful imprisonment, a mysterious storyteller enters an abandoned railroad spur on the outskirts of New York City on Christmas Eve. In exchange for some hobo stew, "O.P." entertains a rag-tag mix of seemingly lost souls by spinning a few tales and, in the process, rekindles the spirit of giving. He transforms the crew into players to stage O. Henry's "The Last Leaf, " "The Gift of the Magi," and others.
