Gilead Christian School will be participating in Morrow County's Independence Day Parade on July 4th. We’re looking for helping hands to bring our parade float to life! Whether you can help decorate, build, organize, or just bring some creative energy, we’d love to have you join us. Let’s work together to create something fun and festive for our community! We'll be having a meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd, at 6 pm at South Campus (Gilead Friends Church), so bring all your great ideas and join us.

Kindergarten students have a Very Bright Future!!!! 😎

It was butterfly liberation week at North Campus.

Mrs. Dresback's students prepared her classroom for a send off with a gesture of gratitude and congratulations by decorating her room, serving breakfast, and performing a play. The play was written and performed by members of her 5th grade class. It was satyr dealing with adolescence. I think they are going to miss you Mrs. Dresback.

We are working our way through the A-Z countdown in Kindergarten!
R is for reading buddies. S is for silly socks. T is for toy day. U is for uniform (dress like future career). V is for very bright future 😎and virtual roller coaster ride!

Dress like a teacher day at GCS. Mrs Johnson has a twin 🥰. She had all the necessities from the cardigan, glasses, and white footwear.

Mrs Johnson's first graders completed space week. We learned about the solar system, the earth, moon, and astronauts.

May 21st, ECC staff honored Administrator Michele Knight and Administrative Assistant Becky Shipman with a potluck retirement party! Michele has been with GCS for 28 years, and Becky for 19 years. Throughout their years of service, they have cared for our littlest ones and poured into so many lives. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and the impact they have made.
Next week will be their final week with us, so please take a moment to wish them well and let them know how much they are appreciated. We wish them all the best in retirement and will miss them greatly!

🚒🚑🚓 Miss Lizzy's class had an exciting day learning about our community helpers! The students had the opportunity to see firetrucks, ambulances, and police cars while meeting firefighters, police officers, EMS workers, and dispatchers. They learned all about the important jobs these heroes do every day to keep us safe.
The favorite part of the day was getting to climb inside the firetruck and explore all of the emergency vehicles up close. The kids had so much fun and asked lots of great questions! Thank you to all of our local first responders for taking the time to visit and teach our students! ❤️👩🚒👮♂️🚑
