Our night will include a catered meal, worship, a program by select GCS students, a guest speaker, and Mr. Eanes sharing his vision for next year. It will also be a good night of fellowship with staff, parents, alumni, and other GCS supporters.

We are postponing tonight's (Jan 16) boys basketball home game vs Mansfield Temple.

Thursday, January 16th, K-12 will be closed today. There will also be NO morning pre-school (8:00-11:30). Daycare will remain open.

: Good morning. Gilead Christian School K-12 will be on a 2 hour delay today, Jan 16.

The GCS Theater Department is getting ready for its Spring production. Next week, there will be a meeting for parents and students to hear more about the play. Then, on Jan 21st, auditions will be held right after school for any 7-12th graders interested in joining. We also need help to clean out the costume attic on Feb 1st, the time to be announced.



The Three Kings stopped by GCS South yesterday and students received candy in their shoes in Spanish class!











Today's bowling match has been postponed. We'll let you know when it has been rescheduled.

The ECC is operating on a one hour delay and K-12 will be on a two hour delay. ECC doors will open at 7:30 am and K12 students can be dropped off starting at 9:45 am.

Today's bowling match with St. Peter's at Morrow Lanes has been postponed. We will post the rescheduled date as soon as we have it.

The game will be played at Mt Gilead High School on Tuesday at 6:00 pm.


Gilead Christian School K12 will be closed today, Jan 6th.
The Early Childhood Center will operate on a one hour delay.. The center will open at 7:30am.

As we head back to school after a great Christmas break we wanted to post some pictures of some of the amazing celebrations GCS participated in over the holidays. Caroling in Mount Gilead and our Christmas concert. Hopefully everyone was able to spend the holidays with family and friends reflecting on all that God has done in your lives.






The GCS Cyber Eagles competed against some of the top high schools in Ohio and surprised many with their skill, determination and spirit. The life long skills of problem solving, teamwork and continuous improvement are the reason so many companies and colleges offer STEM scholarships to the participants.



The GCS Cyber Eagles travel to the Mt Vernon Energy Field House (near Mt Vernon HS) for their first tournament of the season. Qualification matches will run from 10 until 2, with elimination matches to determine who proceeds to the state championships. The students have designed, built and programed their own robots and now they compete against the top high teams in the state.



6th grade had a gingerbread decorating contest which proved to be pretty competive. After the judging, the studends participated in the clean up. The boys deserve an honorable mention for repurposing the wreckage of a demolished train and making it into a Bethlehem Inn.
