Yesterday, we had 3 times beating previous records at the cross-country meet. Seraiah is now the new HS girls' 5K record holder. She broke a record that has stood since 2009 held by Lyndee Sayers. 22:11 is the new record, beating the old record by 9 seconds. In the MS girls' race, both Nena and Lexy beat the old record held by Taryn Chapman, which has also stood since 2009 with a time of 13:48. Lexie bested the old record by 10 seconds with a time of 13:38, and Nina is now the MS girls record holder finishing with a time of 12:43, beating the former record by 1:05. Way to go everybody!
