We are looking, first and foremost, for a person with an active, growing, and visible relationship with Jesus Christ who will build an attitude of Christian character and integrity in our athletes. We are looking for someone willing to build our programs and work with coaches from the youngest grades up through the varsity level. This person will also be able to work and build relationships with opposing coaches and coaches in our other programs. This person will be willing to be active in our booster program and help raise funds to support our overall athletic program. Applicants will also have previous coaching experience, knowledge of the workings, strategies, offensive and defensive sets and plays, and knowledge of how to teach basketball skills. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest to Athletic Director Kirby Francis. (kirby.francis@gileadchristianschool.education)

We have received notice from our Head Girl's Basketball coach, Corey Gamble, that he is retiring as one of our coaches. We would like to thank Coach Gamble for the many years of time, service, talent, and love he has poured into Gilead Christian School, the basketball program, and student-athletes. None of our basketball programs would be where they are today if not for his tireless devotion to these programs. Not only that, Coach Gamble has been a major influence and contributor, along with others, to getting our booster program truly off the ground and running and all of our athletic programs are beneficiaries of Coach Gamble's hard work and dedication. Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. I

Join us for an evening dedicated to the sharing of the talents and abilities that God has bestowed upon our GCS community! We plan to set up a cafe-style atmosphere where artists and writers can display their work and musicians, dancers, and poets can perform in a more informal setting than a traditional concert. See the attached flyer for further details!
