
On Tuesday, we were honored to host the Morrow County Chamber of Commerce’s Lunch and Learn. Our own senior, Rylen P was awarded Student of the Month and LifeWise talked about their program being offered to area public school children.

Some highlights from last night's Dad and Daughter Dance. Thanks to all the dads who came out. It was a fun night of dancing.

This week was Spirit Week at South Campus which ended with a pep rally full of fun games.

One of our students from the third grade class made it up on stage at the Marion Palace Theater!
The payment was a $1,000,000!

Mrs. Saunders' class celebrated the 100th day of school with a scavenger hunt for 100 Hershey kisses, and other fun activities throughout the day!

Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) will be at Gilead Christian School South Campus on Monday, February 12th, at 5:30 pm to present general and eligibility requirement information about the College Credit Plus (CCP) program. This meeting is open to any parent (students can attend also) with a student in grades 7-12 for the 2024-25 school year.


Yesterday, GCS students in grades K-3rd enjoyed a bus ride to the Marion Palace Theatre to see The Math Maniac Show! It was entertaining and educational!!









God created all life and that life depend on liquid water. Chemistry students are exploring the science of solubility. The delicate balance of solutions and solids are vital in maintaining the life the He created.


GCS HS robotics competed in their last tournament of the season. In a field of 27, they placed 16th and again made it into the elimination rounds. Their accomplishment in the process of design, building, and programming with continuous improvement was noted not only in their season of improved standings but also in their engineering notebook and team interviews. There were 5 trophies awarded, and GCS took home one of them.



SOUTH CAMPUS ONLY: After celebrating our senior athletes on the 10th, we will be starting Spirit Week to get everyone excited for the ICSO tournaments. Participation is optional, but we'd love to see kids joining in the fun!

Mrs. Millinger and Mrs. Caldwell were January's teacher and staff of the month.


Today in theater class, students learned how to set up a prop table by participating in a scavenger hunt. Teams were given a track sheet with a list of props they had to go find and bring back to the prop table which then needed to be probably organized and labeled. We have some prop masters in the making!
