Come join us at Pizzaburg in Mount Gilead on Monday, August 4th from 4 to 7pm for our Volleyball Fundraiser! A portion of the earnings will go towards our volleyball program for any equipment needs. We have players you’ll be able to meet who are working throughout that time and we look forward to seeing you there!
We are excited to begin our annual Fall Mum Sale! These big, beautiful 10-inch mums come in decorative pots and are a perfect addition to your fall decor. Students can start collecting orders now, but order forms will be sent home the first week of school. Orders (with payment) are due on or before Monday, September 8, 2025. Cash & checks are accepted. Please make checks payable to Gilead Christian School. Mums will be available for pick up at South Campus on September 19th.
Don't miss our first clothing swap this Saturday, August 2nd! 12-3 pm. Drop off your freshly cleaned, gently used, outgrown school clothes on Friday, August 1st from 8-5 to get your tickets for the swap! This is for GCS families only. If you know a new family coming in, please let them know!

We were +1 from last week's attendance of seven. Our next workshop will unclude the application of Watt's Law and Ohm's Law. We will also continue our circuit building and recognizing components on a schematic. We will also understand radio etiquette, the International Phonetic Alphabet, and practice on live radios inside property and on the fairgrounds.

Getting ready for tomorrow's lesson which includes amateur radio. I had just set it up and worked a contact from Maryland before the band dropped out. These solar storms are making it difficult. I will pray for good operating conditions tomorrow for our group.

It is that time of year again where fall sports will be starting up soon! Please follow the link below to sign up if your student is interested in playing volleyball. We have a Junior High team for students in 6th through 8th grade, and JV and Varsity teams for students in 9th through 12th grade. Both teams will start practice on August 1st!

GCS is putting together our first Clothing Swap! This is for current and new families. If you know any new families coming in, please let them know! It will be a great opportunity to grab some uniforms and/or spirit wear.
Beginning July 1st at North Campus Mr. Thomas is forming a STEM club that will meet Tuesdays from 2-4. Students are responsible for bringing their own safety glasses. Please inform Mr. Thomas of your interest through your ClassDojo app. This is for students entering grades 5-7. I pray your summer is going well!
