Ms. Saunders' class disguised turkeys as a family connection project. Students took home a picture of a turkey with the challenge of disguising it so it would not be eaten for Thanksgiving. Great work everyone!

This year's auctioneer will be Jeremy Jenkins from Jenkins Auction Services. Joining him will be his nephew, Casen, who is a 7th grader at GCS. We're excited to see Casen show off his auctioneering skills for his school. Please join us in supporting him and our school this Friday, November 14th. Our silent auction starts at 6 pm, with the live auction starting shortly after 7 pm.

The HS robot had its first test run. It had limited success in picking up and scoring blocks. More work is needed.
Will the HS team be able to meet the challenge of competition of Jan 3 at Mt Vernon? They have time.

Our Foertmeyer & Sons Winter Flower sale has been extended. All online and paper orders are now due on November 24th. Payment is due with orders. Help us get to our goal of at least 200 items by reaching out to any high school student to get their personal link. Sales go toward our high school field trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in April.

Delivery date will still be December 10th.

Our high school students will be providing childcare during our auction next week, so your children can have fun while you bid on all the items we have to offer. The High School is asking for a suggested donation of $5, with proceeds going to the 7th - 12th grade classes.

The GCS Theater Department has announced auditions for their 2026 spring musical, "Alice in Wonderland: A Rock Musical". Auditions are open to GCS students and homeschoolers in grades 7th-12th.
Please note these important dates:

-Dec 4th @ 3:15pm- Auditions. Students need to have a song from the show prepared to sing. Please email Mr. C for access to the music if needed. (gabe.cabanillas@gileadchristianschool.education). Students will also be asked to do a cold reading. Due to several factors, we do not know when auditions will end. Please plan around 4:30-5pm.
-Dec 12th @ 3:15-5:30pm-Read-Through. Students will receive their scripts, and we'll read it together as a cast.
