Last week, one of the Morrow County Commissioners, Tim Abraham, spoke to and prayed with the North Campus students on the National Day of Prayer.

Over the weekend, students from our theater class traveled to Lancaster to experience Sight & Sound Theatres' production of “Joshua.” From the banks of the Jordan River to the walls of Jericho, they witnessed Joshua’s unwavering trust in God’s plan for His people brought to life on stage.
“Choose you this day whom ye will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

North Campus students painted their air dry clay creations this week in Art!

Mrs Johnson's first graders have transported the chrysalises from their cup home to their netted container where they will continue to develop into Pink Lady butterflies. Stayed tuned for updates.

GCS Robotics toured Wyandot Snacks to observe their new robotic packaging system. We spoke to designers, programmers, management and the people on the floor. The principles of this large complex system were remarkably similar to what we use in designing our competition 'bots: Fully understand the problem, utilize standardized parts and continually seek to improve performance. We can glorify God by serving others in his name, and that applies in all walks of life. .

Mrs Johnson's first grade enrichment reading group (who work with Mrs Dunn) presented stories from Frog and Toad.
After reading through the stories, the students presented short skits to the rest of the class. They learned lines, created props, and worked together.

We’d like to recognize and thank several local churches that partnered with our PTO to bless our GCS staff this week. Through their generosity of time, food, and prayer, they helped provide meals for staff across all three campuses. We are so grateful for their support and care for our school community!

For one of our senior projects we have a Goodwill trailer behind South Campus. If you have anything to donate to Goodwill make sure you drop it off between today, May 4th and Friday, May 8th

Ms. Saunders' Kindergarten class celebrated the letter G in their A-Z countdown by hosting a game day! Students spent the morning learning new games, taking turns and strengthening relationships. We had special visitors from 2nd, 5th and 6th grade join in on the fun!

Last week, Mrs. Johnson's 1st-grade class began the process of watching caterpillars change into butterflies. God's creativity is amazing. Mrs. Johnson's class was one of four classes that earned a butterfly habitat for selling over 80 items during our spring flower sale. Great job, first graders!
